Tender Loving Empire PDX Portland Airport, Portland, OR
Please join Jenny Forrester, author of Narrow River, Wide Sky, who is back in Portland after her jam-packed Western states book tour and reading from her new memoir at Another Read Through.
The new PDX Portland Airport Tender Loving Empire is hosting Teruo Kurosaki (flying in from Tokyo!) and Liz Crain for a book signing event for True Portland: The Unofficial Guide for Creative People on Friday, June 23rd from 11am-1pm. Those who stop by the international D Concourse Tender Loving Empire for this event will get to sip on some Commons Brewery beer (featured in the book!) sample some Alma Chocolates (also featured in the book!) and purchase copies of True Portland to get them signed by the author and editor. Some other folks and businesses featured in the True Portland and carried by Tender Loving Empire might make appearances as well such as Bee Local, Betsy & Iya, Egg Press, Gigantic Brewing, Quin, Salt & Straw, Smith Tea, and Woodblock Chocolate. Tender Loving Empire is a record label + marketplace for unique, handmade goods that supports artists and musicians with four Portland locations.
